SRS Light came on .....HEEELP!!

Ok...so I disconnected the driver airbag to replace the steering wheel, but when I plugged it back in, the SRS light didn't go off and remains there. What did I do? I did turn the engine on while the bag was off the wheel. That is when it first came on, but it didn't turn off when I replaced the bag.....what gives? Anyone? I tried disconnecting the battery with no success. Anyone??

The system is reporting an open circuit to the airbag, cause you let it look while it was disconnected. you need a MB specific scanner to reset it.

Since you have disconnected the battery you also have to reset a bunch of things: express windows, sunroof, possibly D2B ring, steering angle sensor, BAS/ESP codes from the steering angle sensor, clock, radio, must be others.
