Was just wondering if any of you guys have been getting 220s in with suspension problems. We had about three come in within the last month or so and we discovered that because MB mounted the air pump for the suspension so low, it can and does suck in water through the inlet causing the pump to short out. The pump is mounted right under the front splash panel just forward of the right front tire. I thought we were maybe just experiencing a Merrcedes lowrider fad! Anyhow, just so you guys know. If you have one roll in on it's tires, have a look down under first! ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '80 300SD '85 380SE '86 420SEL '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk.III '81 DeLorean DMC12 '84 BMW 745i Turbo |
