Vibration in D 190E/1992 2.3L

Car seem to be vibrating excessively when shifted into Drive but at standstill at stop or traffic light. Also appear to get worse with time. Had the transmission flushed about 5K miles ago. Not that noticable when driving.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Could be motor mounts. How many miles on them? You can also inspect them visually, minimum spec for my 300E is about 13 mm from metal shield to crossmember (they sink as they wear out).

I got the car on 70K, now 120K so it is possible that they have not been replaced before. Do you need to hoist the engine up to do a replacement?
