I really screwed up this time. After raising the hood of my '89 300SE to the full vertical poisition, I'm unable to get it to close properly. The catch under the back edge of the hood won't go under the post-bolt (near the driver's side A-pillar) that it's supposed to engage; the post itself looks a little bent. I assume this is a problem for a body shop, which is where I'll likely wind up. Has anyone else encountered this situation and, if so, how much does it cost to fix? Thanks!
