I have a 260E 1989 with 90,000 miles. I just had a tune up hoping to solve the stall problem but nope. It's odd because somedays the car stalls during stops and other days the car drives fine. It's gets scary when I'm slowing down to make a turn and the car goes dead and the power steering goes out. Is it the overvoltage protection relay? If it is, is it something I can do myself or do I have to get it serviced for big $$$? Any help would be great.

It could be the overvoltage relay, gas pump relay acting up or may be the alternator brushes. Did you jump start the car recently?
