Windshield washer nozzle removal
 

I want to remove the windshiled washer nozzles from the hood of my '82 300SD for a complete repaint. It is not obvious how they are held on to the hood. It also looks like there is an electrical connection. Can anyone help me to remove these without damage?

IF its like the W123s, there are two barbs that hold it in that need to be depressed toward the center of the stem. These are not easily visible, at least on the W123 as there is some structure in the way on the underside of the hood. I used a close fitting deep well socket- I think it may have been an 11 or 12mm up from under the hood to push in the barbs while pulling on the nozzle from the top.

On the W123 there's no electical connection, just water tubing so I don't know if its totally different on W126 or what.....
