Having trouble starting.

Fully Charged Battery
No Throttle, cranks fast, does not fire
slight throttle and then now throttle, cranks fast fires, up to 400 revs, sound eneimic, dies after 4/5 seconds.

Has 1/4 tank of gas, but has been idle for 4 weeks, (daughter at college)

Lights, alarm, services all seem OK, I am thinking fuel starvation or weak spark but have not fault found on this mark before any suggestions ?

Thanks fore the emails you guys. After a search I found the OVP links. Sure enough, one of the 2 10amp fuses had gone. It was a little tricky to find so I thought I would add that this device is located behind the large plastic cover behind the battery. It wiggles out vertically.

Its freezing out there but this made for a quick fix.
