Brakes

What is the OEM for a 1997 E420. I made a mistake and bought brakes that weren't OEM (but were German) for my 560sl and they are still screaming.

OEM for what? Pads, rotors, calipers? MB casts their own rotors, calipers for the w210 are ATE. And for pads Pagid, Textar and Jurid are all OEM suppliers.

Thanks Ali,

I was looking for pads in particular. Any of the ones you mentioned better than the other. I don't want my brakes to squel.

If you search brake pads I think you will find Textar are most agreed upon but OEM is OEM to avoid squealing use non metalic's you’ll get more dust and shorter life but better stopping.
