Throttle Body Gasket

On a 1989 420 SEL, is it necessary to dress the throttle body gasket? A new gasket seems to be made from stiff paper/cardboard. Should it be installed dry? What's the torque on the throttle body bolts?

If you're talking about the one that attaches the throttle plate to the lower intake plenum then install it dry.

Sounds like the same gasket. It is one between the throttle body which contains the flap, and vacuum connections to the lower plenum.
