123vs116 servo, whats the difference?

I need to change the climate control servo on my '79 300sd (116) I have one off a 1979 300D, but was told they have different part numbers, and therefore are different. Does anyone know what the difference is and how it will affect using it over the 116 servo? Thanks! Dave

Good question, it must be a minor calibration difference as I have used them interchangibly with no noticable results. Being from Florida its possible the difference could be a heater capability difference and I wouldn't have noticed.
