Interior lights out AND license plate lights out!
I replaced my cracked dash pad (a lot of work) and after I put everything back together...everything works except for the subject line items. I have not taken the cluster out to troubleshoot yet but, I suspect a short for obvious reasons. I had a similar problem in the past but, since the license plate lights are out, that is a new twist. Looking at the electrical troubleshooting manual the park/tail/side marker/license have fuse #3 and #8 in common. The thing that confuses me is the exterior light failure monitoring unit light does NOT light up. Do this go bad and how can I test it?
It could be two separate problems but I do not know if I had the license light out before I remove the cluster. Any thoughts on this? I will remove the cluster in the next couple of days... P.S. I already check the rheostat.

Nobody?
Well today I checked voltage to the license plate lightbulbs and I have no power at the lightbulbs. Lightbulbs are good. I guess I will remove the instrument cluster this week and see what happens.
Oh...one more thing I noticed, the buzzer does not go off when the light switch is on and the door is open.
