190e ... radiator .... Psssst
The old 190e, after driving for some time, when parked on a slight incline (nose higher) does a noticeable "psssst" as if the radiator cap just released.
Is this normal? Haasman

Haasman:
In an old thread(that I can never find), M.B.Doc commented about a technique used to bleed air from the cooling system on certain 103 motors. The strategy was to elevate the front-end of the car and run the engine with the reservoir pressure cap removed. This helped to "burp" the system. I wonder if perhaps you: a. Have air in the cooling system b. Have a pressure cap that's not holding 100% My 2 cents.

Thanks Mike. I will try making sure the system is bled properly and also get the cap pressure tested.
