W140 92 Model locks itself

When I close my boot the central locking motor activates and locks the whole car, this can happen with the key in the ignition (not funny).By chance I have worked out it only happens when the boot light is connected. All other locks and self-closing functions work perfectly. Please help. Must have happened to someone else, please reply

Update on locking system

After checking all lock switches and wiring (with the problem still there) I decided to remove the pump (under rear seat) and open it up. Well someone had a lot oft time and ingenuity to desin that one. I dismantled it, checked the circuit board for pad solder spots, checked vacuum hose connections and re-seated them. So realy I found no fault with the pump at all. (What have I disturbed to fix it??). After the pump was re-installed I initialised the remote key and all is working fine. Time will tell , I still carry a second key tough!

Same thing happened to me last summer in my driveway packed full of luggage and ready to drive to the USGP in Indy. It wasn't funny. I think it is probably the pump starting to fail, but I just made sure I carried a second key with me at all times. It never did it again after that!

New update on locking system

Well, after about two weeks the car locked itself again. I ended up bying a new pump and conversion kit (which the new pump requires) and the system is now working fine.
