Over Voltage Relay

I have not been able to find this relay. I have a 1986 300SDL the had a battery short and I have lost several things and have had threads suggesting that as a problem. Sure would appreciate any help.

Looks like this: http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com/mercedesshop/sophio/wizard.jsp?partner=mercedesshop&clientid=mercedesshop&baseurl=http://catalog.peachparts.com/&cookieid=1CL0O6GWD1EM0R5BXV&year=1986&make=MB&model=300-SDL-001&category=P&part=Overload+Relay

On my 124 it is behind the battery under a loose cover. Not exactly sure on your 126.

Believe it's between the double firewall about in the middle, maybe more towards the battery.

In my 86 SDL it's rear of the engine compartment, between the brake master cylinder and the engine. The red top makes it obvious.

Best Regards,

Thanks

I appreciate the information. I had no idea what to look for. There are so many different safty items, guess I should break down and buy the CD so I can find these things, just don't have many problems though.
