ADLA Setting question 1985 300TD

I adjusted my ADLA 1 turn counter clockwise as suggested in another forum. My car (1985 300TD) now accelerates from a stop much better. My question is, is there any concern over a richer mixture from this setting?
IE Engine damage? :)
