1998 C280--OVP or "fuse and relay module"?
1998 C280 75000 miles-- Had a stalling issue that the mechanic said could be
a problem with the coils. This made no sense to me, since the car started fine and was not dying under load. Thanks to this EXCELLENT website, I instead had another shop r and r the CPS, and the problem seems to be rectified. My question is whether or not my car has an OVP, and if so, where? I could not find it under the right side cover by the cowl, or in the trunk by the battery. Or do I have a "fuse and relay module" in some other location that takes the place of the OVP? Thanks for the help and again, great job. :sun_smile |
Steve bfl said something about the evolution of the ovp in a thread about the purpose of the ovp. You'd have to do a search for it, but i bet by '98 you wouldn't have a red-capped 10 amp fuse anymore.
