380sl auxiliary fan always on?
On my 1984 380sl the auxiliary fan is always on. If i disconnect the single wire from the fan switch at the thermostat housing the fan will go off. What is this telling me and what is the proper fix.

That switch makes a ground & turns the aux fan relay on at 212F (100C). Only then should the fan be on.
