190E 2.3 Flywheel Machining Dimension
A friend wants to have the flywheel on his 1985 190E 2.3 machined before installing a new clutch. He can't find the dimension from the surface the pressure plate bolts to to the wearing surface (in the Tech Data Book 1969 for my old SL it is dimension "a" - not "A"). Does anyone have this info?

The minimun thickness is 15.2MM, measured from the clutch contact surface to the flywheel mounting surface. (Distance "b").
OF course the clutch plate mounting HAS to be 19.4MM from the clutch surface. (Distance "a").

Yes they are the same for a 16V even though the clutch is 228MM instead of 215MM.
