I was wondering, is my 86 300E supposed to have a check engine light? I dont seem to have one, theres the O2 sensor light which is all the way to the right side and there is a empty space to the left of it and next to the empty space is the SRS light. Also my O2 sensor light comes on if I leave the car idling for about 10 mins then goes off about a block after I start driving it. Does this mean I need to replace it or should I just wait until it turns on and stays on. Thanks for your help.

I don't think that the '86 has the Check Engine light. The system changed in '87 or '88.
