I just purchased a Mercedes with broken windshield and a little body rust. Interior in excellent cond. mileage said 160000 so I offered 700.00 and he took it. After looking closer 160000 was km. which is a little under 100000 mi. good deal. so I call the dealer to find out what model it is? they don't know ! So I find out this is a gray market car. after I find out what a grey market car is I still don't know what model this is can someone help not even sure what year it is. the VIN is WDB12603212000415 any info would be appreciated. thanks Adrian

The WDB126 part tells me it has a w126 body (80's S class). Is it diesel or gasoline?

Adrian Johnston 12-02-2000 09:54 AM

V-8 gasoline

Thanks this seems to be a good investment but need to get it running Im not getting 12 v to fuel pump under passenger side rear wheel. starts and runs for about a second or 2 then quits. once in a while it will run for a few minutes then quit. any comments?

RE: running / not running problem

Sounds like a classic case of fuel pump relay problem. Try bridging it to send 12V directly to the pump & then see if the motor runs.
