I have a 1983 300SD Turbo Diesel - owned since new - with 150,000 miles.
The dash wood is falling off, and is badly warped. Does mercededs make a set of plastic trim pieces that i can install to replace the wood? ( i assume this was never a North American option but was standard in the Father Land) Any info would be grealty appreciated Thanks Noah 1999 C43AMG 1983 300SD TD |

I had a piece of the wood trim disappear (carwash), and tried several sources. By far away the best and cheapest was Atlanta-Stuttgart, whose tel # must be easy to find on these pages.
Neil Wigley PS The most expensive was M-B at around $200. I got mine for $15!!! |
CENTER COUNSLE
I hope your center counsle is in good shape that is what is bad on my 85 500sel and it is almost impossible to find i have not found one yet in junk yards or at the dealer or any place else.

center sections are good
the large piece above the radio and ash tray below and gear shift surround are all good - it is the thin piece's that go across the entire dash from vent to vent, including the glove box piece.
I'd like to leave the center wood pieces's and replace the rest with black or gray plastic. |
