88 300e Excessive Idle Speed (Rough Start)
 

My 88 300e has developed a tendency to idle at 1200 - 1300 RPM, I thought it may be the cold start valve kicking in, but it stays that way after the engine has warmed up. It is also a rough start, requires several attempts to get it going, (starts, runs for a few seconds and then dies, eventually I can catch it before it dies and get the revs up to 1000 rpm, runs like that for a minute or so and then increases itself to 1200 - 1300 rpm and stays that way)
