Have you checked the belt tensioner?

Your car has no provision to adjust the belt tension??!

Is that true?

So what is the solution?

Mine half year old belt did that, and the belt dressing helped temporarly, replacing it helped permantly. You could get your moneys worth out of your can of belt dressing then replace the belt.

I'm guessing the belt surface got glazed over, if you want to test that theory try cutting the glaze somehow, like with sand paper.

The M116 V8 uses double V belts not a serpintine so no tensoner. Check the tension and tighten them. Don't overtighten them though you could do damage. Which ones are making noise?

It seems like the noise is comming from the two belts from the power steering pump. BTW all belts only have 1500 miles on them.

Spray some WD40 on the belts while the engine is running. Be careful !! It is a temporary solution but over time they stop making noise. Seems like the belt absorbs some of the oils.
