Howdie everyone,
My 98 c280 makes a very loud noise (squeeks) when the brake is applied. Car has only 30k mile and was never driven hard. I think it's coming from the front driver side. My first question, does the MB new car warranty cover for such repair? If not should I just change the pads/rotors front/rear? I have done this on W-201 car in the past but just wondering how pricy are the parts for w202 model? As usual, waiting for your comments... Thanks -Larry -98 C280Sport-Imperial Red |

Go to MercedesShop's PartsShop Lobby and click on Fastlane. We have all the brake parts you need there so you can see what they cost.
Often the squeel is caused by things such as: Aftermarket pads Non use or incorrect use of anti-squeel paste Worn disks By the way, have you read our brake article in the DIY section of the site? It might shed some light on this issue.
