Here's a slightly obscure query:
The fuel distributor on my '77 280E is on the way out, so I'm curious about a Tech Service Bulletin issued by M-B in August '81 (no. 07.3_025) about a CIS Fuel Distributor Update for the '77 280E. Do any of the techs out there know what was covered in this bulletin? |
I don't know all of them from memory, but I would speculate that this is the bulletin telling of the new alluminum distributors. They are no longer cast iron as the old ones were. They began to rust. (HMMMMM)
I would replace the injection nozzles and the fuel filter while there. |
