Driving home tonight, I noticed that the dash light which lights up the right side of my display (clock and tach) was out. A few hard taps on the display brought it back up, but it again went out. I assume I simply have a bad connection there, but have no idea how to get at it to fix it. Anyone out there know the secret password to access that part of the dash? Thanks.

You have to take the instrument cluster out, just change the lightbulb (cheap). The instrument cluster is held in place by pressure only but, if it has never been remove before it may be hard to pull out and may have to use the tools MB uses (you can make your own). You also have to "loosen" the speedo cable. If you want step by step procedure do a search on the subject. I am almost 99.99% sure I'd seen it here before. Or, buy the CD. You will get your money back with this job alone.
Good luck!
