Addt'l Work w/ M104 Head Gasket?

I have a 1996 E320 (M104) with an oil leak at the right rear head gasket. The car has 99,600 miles. I think that this will be a DIY head gasket replacement. My question is what other work should be done if I am going to remove the head? The items noted in prior posts include 1) complete valve job including replacement of guides and seals, and 2) replace tensioner and guide rails for timing chain (but not chain itself), and 3) replace rear heater hoses (how are these parts identified on FastLane?). I think that the 1996 has the updated EGR pipe already in place.

As part of the process I understand that I will need new head bolts and washers.

Does this list seem reasonable?

Never had to replace a head bolt on an M104 (or M103 for that matter). They are checked for length to make sure they aren't over-stretched. Washers are fine too if that's the style you have.
Chain tensioner might be an OK idea. Could be done easily any time though.
Doubtful you have the newer EGR pipe, I'd replace it if you're nervous about it at all, or at least inspect it and then decide.
Everything else I'd leave it all alone.

Can anyone post the process for checking the bolts for over-stretch? To me it would just seem safer to go ahead and replace them.
