95 E320 Heater problem
 

Hi, searched but have not seen this problem, heater works intermittently. Can get heater to turn on when I force engine into high vacuum (low gear, let off gas). Any suggestions on where to look. Does the heater control value use vacuum?

A weak point in these cars is the vacuum actuators in the center bottom of the dash - hard to get to.

Thanks, how do you diagnose those vacuum actuators? What do you have to remove to get to them?
