Catalytic converter replacement including pipes?
Hi everybody
It seems that I need a new catalytic converter for my 1992 300TE, 140kmiles: it is clogged and there is a power loss above 3000rpm. In addition due to an impact my exhaust is bent out of place (the culprits are the pipes betwween catalytic converter and exhaust manifold). If I'd buy a new catalytic converter, will the long pipes that attach to the exhaust manifold be included? Or are these replacement cats (for example from germanstar) welded into place? Since the sales persons are not alwys well informed I'd be happy to get some sensible advice from you. Thnanks, Bruno |
