190e 2.3-16V same as 190e 2.3?
 

Ìs the trunk from a 1987 190e 2.3-16V same as the regular 190e's? If so what year models of the regular 190e's will fit. Im not 100% sure but I think the only difference is the 2.3-16V has the holes for the spoiler already drilled out. Am I correct or no. Thanks for the input here!

The trunk lids are the same, however the 16 valve uses heavier springs to keep the lid up with the extra weight of the spoiler. Mercedes has a paper template to locate and drill the holes for the spoiler on a standard "boot lid."
