brake lining wear visit workshop
 

My 2001 c320 just started having this message "brake lining wear visit workshop" . does this mean there is something wrong with the actual brake line? i noticed last time that my rear brakes were getting low so i bought the pads. Do you resurface the rotors or replace them? Any thing special i should becareful of? I have a new sensor waiting to go in as well.

It refers to the brake pads, not any brake lines.

New sensors are required with a pad replacement.

Don't bother resurfacing the rotors. Replace them if they are worn beyond min thickness, or just throw the new pads in.
