Differences between m110.988 and m110.984
 
I have a 1982 MB 280TE with the M110.988 engine. Parts are a little hard to come by. Does anyone know the differences between my engine, M110.988, and the US version M110.984? Thanks in advance.... :D

About 40 HP, almost every internal engine part is different! As well as the fuel system!

inhales deeply. I was hoping that the 1981 280E parts would fit. Oh well, back to trrying to find a off shore source for parts....... :(
