I have a 1994 S320. When the heater is on, the rear vent (the one on the back of the center console) blows cold air. Should it be blowing hot when the heat is one? If so, what could be wrong?

Heat for the rear seating area comes thru ducts under the front seats! The vent in the ctr console is for fresh air or A/C. If its not shutting completly off you can adjust the cable, so that it will shut off. The adjustment is under the carpet at the bottom of the console compartment.

Front seat heat?
Is this true on a 1990 model? (126) are there heat ducts under front seats for the rear? I knew the center one was fresh only but thought there was no heat in the rear at all.

I know the w126 has vents in the rear for heat as well. I can't remember exactly where, but I think they might be under the seats as well.
