oill grade for a MB "smart" turbo diesel
Because my new MB "smart" won't arrive for another two months, I don't have an owner's manual yet. However, I have an opportunity to purchase 20 litres of high quality synthetic oil at a bargain price. I use 15W50 in my other two MBs. Does anyone know what grade is recommended for the "smart" turbo diesel?

There is a Smart Car discussion group over at MBCanada.com. 15W50 sounds like it would be heavier than what modern diesel engines would call for. I bet they are suggesting 5W40 or 0W40.
