E280 repair manual

I have some repair dvds which are okay but obviously you have the problem of not being at the car when you are trying to find out what to do next (or what the funnny shaped thing is you broke )

So Does anyone know where i can get an actual repair/maintainance manual for a 1995 E280 as the haynes site says this book is being considered, essentially if i cant find a manual i'm stuck with difficult to use cds.

If ANYONE can HELP id REALLY appreciate it thanks

they have to be books that you hold not on cd/dvd online etc

thanks

This thread probably should be in the Tech Help forum (edit: I moved thread over from OD). I like to have the discs instead of the paper manuals (when available) because you can print out the documents you need and not really worry about getting them dirty, plus you can manipulate the seperate documants easier, such as putting them in a clipboard or something, or fold them up different ways or even taping them somewhere where it's more readable. You are very limited with a book. You can't just fold or tape things conveniently and it's more critical to keep the book clean for later use. As long as you have all the info needed in the disc, you are better off this way, IMHO. Although it is nice to have a book for studying from, etc instead of browsing a disc. On the newer cars there is very little in paper anymore, delaers use primarily electronic info now, paper seems to be a dying medium for tech info.

I agree with Gilly but if you really want a book, the Haynes volume on the 85-93 W124 series might have enough coverage of your 95 E280.

book only

I personally dont like the cds as they don't seem as user friendly, ie when browsing through.
If ANYONE can help me get a book i'd really appreciate it.
