key question
I Have A 97 E420 Need A Key For It So I Went To The Dealer. I Now Have The Key And It Works, But The Orginal Does Not Start The Car. Do You Know Why ? Please Help

The keys are numbered, (there are 8 positions available) both physical & electronically.
Sounds like THE dealer DIDN'T ORDER AN EXTRA KEY but ordered a replacement key for an original position. When the car was new it came with keys 1-3. The original key isn't ever going to start the car again!
