16V NO HEAT, NO MONOVALE, HELP BRR....

OH GOSH IT WAS COLD THIS MORNING.....my car had no heat at all, I did a search on monovale, but nobody talked about the 16v. Is there a monovale in there? I know is located
somewhere near the battery, but I don't see anything...oh please help is going to be cold again tomorrow. Could the fusses be part of this?! or coolant? (which I added more this afternoon)

W201 chassis uses a vacuum heater valve. Vacuum shuts the valve OFF. It is under the plastic air intake grill under the hood, on the passenger side of w/s wiper mech. Disconnect vacuum line from valve w/warm engine to see if valve still works.

Thanx for the tips, now do I need any special tool to get to the vacuum heater valve? Do I need to pull out anything?

Only the plastic air intake grill. 2 plastic phillips screws & 2-8MM sheet metal screws. Must also remove section of weatherstrips, just pull up on them.

okey,I disconnet the vale you were talking about. I do get heat but now what?! What do I need to replace now?! And by the way is this quick fix?! What happen if I leave it like this till summer?! Anyway, thank-you alots =)

Which function has the vacuum heater valve?
Is there something wrong if I have no heat in my 16v during the first 10 minutes of a trip?

The W201 Tempomatic system is VERY difficult to diagnosis unless you have Factory info on design of system. Also some test equiptment is needed to determine failure of componets.
