Which transmission cooling line?

My mechanic just gave my "new" 1995 e320 wagon the once-over and has given it a clean bill of health, but for a few minor issues.
One of them is a transmission cooling hose that originates from the radiator down on the right hand side, as you are facing the engine.
When I go to Performance Products, plug in my year and model, it gives me 4 different options for straight and curved lines of different lengths.
Does anybody know which one is right for my car?

The left one will probably be due soon too. I'd replace both of them. They are fairly inexpensive but can leave you stranded.
Good luck, Bruno

Are you talking about the rigid lines that run along the block or the flexible lines that connect the rigid lines to the radiator? It's common for the flexible lines to develop leaks. The rigid lines will eventually leak if the clamp grommets give out allowing the lines to rub against the clamp. Get new grommets if you're replacing the rigid lines.

Smile transmission cooling hoses

Shawnster,

I replaced both the left and right cooling hoses on my 95 E-320 they are inexpensive to get and I too would recommend you change both at the same time. The procedure is simple the main problem is the lost of transmission fluid. What I did was to lift the front end of the car on ramps or other appropriate support and unbolt them one at the time. Make sure you keep track of which is left or right I believe one is longer that the other. Do not over tight the nuts. I bought mine from Fast Lane, talk to Phil he has always been very helpful. Hope that helps
