I never could figure out my intermittent window switch--I think it might have been a bad relay under the back seat: the window always went down but often wouldn't go up. When I reversed the power wires it always went up--so--to avoid the potential of a window down in a rainstorm or blizzard on a trip, I fashioned a switch to reverse the power polarity. I designed it so the wires would flex minimally and encased them in shrinkwrap to prevent abrasion. The 14-year-old likes to show it off. I forgot to take photos before I put the door panel back on. All the other ashtrays are used for candy wrappers and the occasional chicken wing bone.
