You are exactly right! ;)
NEVER ship from the US by UPS or FedEx.
Their brokerage charges ( US $ 20.00 on a $ 10.00 item ) will kill you.
US Mail ( even " Priority Mail " ) is the only way to go.
Well, aside from setting up a US mailbox, if you're within easy driving distance of the border. ;)
