Need some help...anyone
 

I need to remove the inside of the rear door on an S320 sedan,96 to get to the door handle. I checked on the DIY but the instructions were for the "FRONT" door, no help there. Thanks

Outside handle ? You shouldn't have to tear the door apart to get the outside handle off.

Look on the door jamb.. inbetween the inside and outside parts of the door, horizontal surface...

You should see a rubber or plastic plug around the handle... remove it and you should be able to pop the handle out.... these instructions MAY work...

The problem i'am having is the screw coming from the rear of the handle has backed out and the handle is loose and won't open the door. When I pull it out some and look inside, I can see the problem, but the only way I can see to fix it is to get inside and tighten the screw an pput the release lever back in the handle. Does this help explain the situation?? Thanks, Ron
