Oil Usage for a 4.5L V8
My engine is a 117.985 and has a 148K Miles. Using a quart of oil every 1200 miles. Is that normal, good, or bad? No smoke on start or run that I can tell. Thanks....

It's pretty decent but I have seen cars do 3k or more. When it gets below 1000mi replace the VG oil seals. If the guides are bad, do a valve job.
