i have a 1984 190e and recently had my head gasket done and an oil change and the works and ive had the car for about a week and the idling have been really rough today at a stop and from a complete stop, my car would sputter as i would try to accelerate...so any help would be appreciated basically it is a very rough idle and sputtering acceleration...thanks...ron

It sounds as if you have an ignition misfire. You may want to have this checked with a scope. I have replaced a handfull of the ignition coils on this model.
