1988-1991 W126 Performance Comparison?
I am alternating between driving a 1988 and a 1991 560 SEL. I plan to keep one and sell the other. Is it my imagination, or does the 1991 have more torque than the 1988? I thought the drivetrains were identical in almost every way, but the 1991 seems quicker off the mark than the 1988.

Actually, the 1988 runs the smoothest of the two and has 125K. The 1991 has 158K, needs cap, rotors and wires and possible transmission replacement.
