how to test OVP and Klima relays?
Hi folks
have been reading lots of posts and suspect either my OVP or Klima relay are suspect. I have no test equip other than a couple of multimeters. I checked out the replacement prices and they are not cheap so can anyone tell me how to test these relays with just my multimeter and pieces of wire? I will need exact pin numbers please if possible. the symptoms are no cold air, condenser completely cold. I have been able to spark the compressor into life at idle by pulling and replacing the contact on top of the accumulator so I dont think thats the problem. My feeling is the condenser is being tripped out by one of these two relays. all help of reference to posts I have not yet found appreciated. thanks Keith |

OVP checked out AOK - where next?
You were right there was more when I searched harder.
I applied the two suggested methods of testing and both told me the OVP was perfect. I am now stumped as I have four electrical problems and need a new theory as to whats wrong. I have hooked into another thread on 300D A/c problems so wont repeat it here. Keith |
