99' C280 Driver's Side Airbag bad?
 
Dealer says it the airbag and not any sensors? Not covered under the Ext. warranty so about how much is the airbag and how many hours charged to fix it.

I thought seatbelts and air bags were always covered regardless of age of the vehicle. These air bags are rated for 15 years life I believe. I would think Mercedes would back up their safety equipment since that is one of their main claims.

Nope, not at all.

Nope, the car's StarMark'ed but nothing in there about the AirBags or Seat belts.

Maybe I was thinking of Volvo. They have a lifetime warranty on seatbelts, parts and labor. Don't know if it covers airbags however.
