Largest city in U.S. without a MB dealership?
I live in Amarillo, TX. Population of metro area is 230,000 +/-. Additional population of 200,000 within 60 miles. But no Mercedes dealership. Closest one is 115 miles away (Lubbock, TX). So that led me to wonder, is Amarillo the largest city in the U.S. without a Mercedes dealership? Any others out there? I have complained to to Mercedes about this a number of times.

We bought my wife's 1997 C280 new from a dealer in Witchita Falls. Their population in 2000 was 105,000.

I think their must be a MB dealer every few miles in CT. :D I can think of 4-5 off the top of my head.

Sounds as if Amarillo gets the award for being the largest city with the good fortune of not having a M-B dealership.
Tucson will be without one for one day on April 18th. Opens the next day with a new owner. |
Amarillo used to have an MB dealer. One of my cars - I think it was the '87 wagon - was a trade from a dealer in Amarillo. Guess they closed up shop.
