560sl warning lights and odometer help?

Hello all,
I am a relatively new owner of a magnificent '86 560s. I really love this car. My Fiancee' bought it but I find myself asking her to drive the old 4runner more and more.

There are a few questions that I have about the warning lights..there is an intermittent lights that come on and go off at random times..The SRS light and the "Light" light. It is very strange, when the "light" light is lighted(wow) there is a bulb out but when it is not the bulb is not out.

My odometer recently has decided to keep my 190k 560sl staying young..for every 10 miles driven it may record 1 or 2 miles. Strange huh??

Does anyone have words of wisdom?

You should replace the bulbs that are not operating correctly. You also should go ahead and replace all of the bulbs that are black in color. (Use only the correct wattage bulbs found at German supply houses. Don't use the american equiv.)

The SRS should be checked out by a tech. Most of the time the slip rings are faulty and have to be replaced.

The ODO is electronic on your car and will have to be checked. Most of the time, I have replaced the speedo heads for this problem.

Do you have an idea of costs for the above jobs? Labor hours and parts? Rough idea is fine..
