still have the 81 300TDT, but i got an 85 in much better shape. I am looking for a vac syst diagram for it, and having not much luck.

Also - looking for someone to shed som light on the fact that the central locking system appears to have a leak, but only sometimes. Sometimes whild driving i will test the locks and the ones on the passenger take about 30 seconds to work, and the one in the back not at all. But sometimes they all work within 1-3 seconds with no problem. When the locks seem to work, the car shuts off almost instantly after turning the key. But when the locks are not working very well, the engine stops 5-10 seconds after turning the key. I also have the panel under the steering wheel off trying to find a pesky water leak in the body, so i can hear more - well - i hear the sound of pressurized air under there while accellerating. I figured all this is a tell tale sign of soomething, but not sure which element or connector to replace. most everything else works fine. this is the first item on the agenda. Thanks for your help.
