Question:

What engine wiring harness is it that everybody says goes out so much in these cars (124)? Is it the one in the little plastic cover that goes from the back to the front and runs to the sensors etc.? And, if I have a 1992, is there anyway my dealer will fix it under some kind of defect? How can I get them to do it? THanx ...

Yes, that is the engine wiring harness. Whether or not you will get any warranty is dependant on mileage as your car is over 9 years old & warranty ran out 3-5 years ago. Don't be afraid to ask & ask MB as well for good will as they know that these harness are a problem!!
